In only ten days, our family from South Dakota will be here! We haven’t seen them in at least 2-3 years. In that time, one has moved to Iowa, one has become engaged to be married, and one just graduated from high school. My oldest son is already an empty-nester, and now the second-oldest is soon to join that status.
Well. It’s almost 8:30 p.m. I got distracted by several things, and just now realized I never finished this post.
Which tells you a lot about my state of mind these days.
