18 Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the Lord, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.
19 For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.
Zion was to be clothed, figuratively, with these returning exiles, and was to bind them upon her as a bride does an ornament. After this return of Israel to their own country again,, the land would be too small for them and the wonder of Israel would be where so many came from. God will put it into the hearts of the Gentiles to help regather Israel, and then they will worship Jehovah Who will reign in Israel.
It is hard to imagine such a time, because historically, especially since WWII, there has been so much animus toward Israel. Since the day they became a nation, there has been an ongoing effort to destroy them. When God intervenes, that effort will be ended and the Gentile nations will help Israel, and they will be blessed for their efforts.
