Isaiah 44:21-23. “Remember these, O Jacob and Israel: for thou art My servant: I have formed thee, thou art My servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of Me. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and as a cloud, thy sins: return unto Me; for I have redeemed thee. Sing, O ye heavens; for the Lord hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth; break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the Lord hath redeemed Jacob and glorified Himself in Israel.”
Unfulfilled prophecy, this passage in referring to the Millennial reign of Christ, when all Israelites will return to God in worship. Israel is admonished in this verse to remember all that has been said about the foolishness of idol worship. They are reminded that they are God’s chosen servants, and that He will keep His promises never to forget them.
The Millennium will be a time of such great joy that even the heavens will sing, as will the earth, the mountains, the forests, and every tree. It will be the final return of Israel to the God Who created them, and there will never be another parting.
His forgiveness of their national and personal sin of idolatry will be complete and forever.
