Isaiah 19:1-2. “The burden of Egypt. Behold the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at His presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it. And I will set the Egyptian against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour: city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.”
All of chapter 19 has a Tribulation and Millenial fulfillment, as proved from many predictions that have never been fulfilled and will not be until Christ comes again. There are at least 36 predictions yet to be fulfilled, too many to mention here. Perhaps it would be an interesting side study.
What we see here in this passage is that God will bring judgment upon Egypt, as upon all nations that have persecuted Israel. Even the idols of that land will be moved at His presence, another indication that this is a far future prophecy that will take place when Messiah is actually, physically present on the earth.
Egypt will submit to Messiah, but only after there is terrible civil war throughout the land.
