Isaiah 12: 3. “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.”
Therefore refers back to the previous verse: Messiah is the strength, the song, and the salvation of those who experience the Millenial Kingdom.
The word joy denotes a rapture never before experienced by God’s people. The joy will be unrestrained, at it will flow from the waters of salvation. The Messiah that the Jews rejected when Jesus walked the earth is now the source of all things for them.
In the New Testament, Jesus described Himself as the living water. Anyone who drank of the water He provided would never thirst again. He is the water of life, the source of peace and joy, and the beauty that exists where water is plentiful.
