Friday Counseling Issues: Scripture Doses

When I first started working as a therapist, fifteen years ago, I found myself offering the same verses frequently to various clients.  I decided to put them all together in a handout, and I’ve been using that handout ever since.

At first I called them my “peace and hope” verses, and that still applies.  Those are the two things my clients are looking for when they enter counseling:  Inner peace in a very stormy life, and the hope that things can and will get better.

So here is my list for you. Under each scripture reference, you will see how they specfically apply.  I hope they are a blessing to you.
