It’s Friday, and normally I’d be tackling a Friday Counseling Issues post today. But I’m not. I’m officially on vacation until the 21st, and I’m going to take a blogging break as well—not completely, but I won’t be posting anything too serious here until after my break.
I’m thinking of starting a study on Galatians and Ephesians next. Been thinking about it for quite some time.
Not sure where I’m going with counseling issues. There’s no lack of options, I just haven’t picked one yet.
In the meantime, I’m going to spend a few days in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Two of my closest friends and I are going on a girlfriend getaway, and I can’t wait! We’ve been planning this for months, and it’s finally here!
The weather forecast down there is calling for a 70% chance of rain and thunderstorms every single day we’re there, so I’m having a little talk with Jesus about that, telling Him all my troubles 🙂 It really doesn’t matter, though. It’s going to be in the high 70’s, which will feel wonderful after our long cold winter and,so far, very cool spring. We’ll find things to do, and we’ll laugh and rest and the time is going to fly.
I’ll probably put up some pictures throughout the week, but as I said, there won’t be much serious stuff going on here for the next week or so.
Enjoy the break! I pray that you have a wonderful time of fellowship and rest. I pray you have peace and lots of sunshine!

Oh, I’ll be popping in now and then. Blogging is a hard habit to break, and I’ve been doing it pretty faithfully for three years now 🙂

I’ve just finished spending a little bit of time this afternoon catching up on your blogs. And here you are taking a break–a well deserved one! We might all be clambering about with counseling issues and questions for you because of your not being here for so long 😉 Never mind all that, though. Truly, ENJOY!

Thank you! I can just about guarantee waves of laughter will be rolling up from Alabama, if you listen very closely:)
