Music has always expressed my thoughts and feelings. It’s no different today as I think of the greatest Lover of all time, the One Whose love was so deep and strong that He allowed Himself to be nailed to an old rugged cross in our behalf. I’m not going to preach today, or even say a whole lot more. I’m going to share a beautiful old song with you that expresses it far better than I ever could.
Great song! our choir sings this one often 😀 Thanks!

Isaiah 52:14 “Just as many were appalled at him, because he was so disfigured that he didn’t even seem human and simply no longer looked like a man.”
The sins that caused him pain beyond endurance was that very thing that he embraced as he stumbled up the hill.

I like the version I memorized when I was a kid: “As many were astonied at Thee: His visage was so marred, more than any man, and His form more than the sone of men:”
Crucifixion was a horrible and inglorious death, and Jesus suffered more than any other man because of the load of sin He bore for us.
Thanks for your commen, Michelle. Surely makes us stop and think.
